May & June in Bloom
The days are growing longer, the trees are full and green, gardens are waking up, and summer is beginning to stretch its warm arms toward us. This beautiful transition from spring into summer reminds us that nature is always moving, always evolving, and always inviting us to slow down long enough to notice it.
At Breathe the Trees, this season is about joy, connection, mindfulness, and creating simple moments that help us feel grounded and alive. Whether it’s sipping tea on the porch, walking beside a lake, lighting a calming candle after a long day, or gathering with others for a nature-inspired workshop, there are so many ways to reconnect with yourself through the natural world.
This Season’s Nature Reminder
Did you know that being near water and green spaces can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, improve focus, and elevate mood? As spring transitions into summer, our senses naturally awaken. The scent of flowers, warm breezes, birdsong, sunshine, and longer evenings all create opportunities for mindfulness and restoration. Even a few intentional moments outside can help shift your energy and improve your overall well-being.
This month, try stepping outside early in the morning or just before sunset. Leave your phone behind for a few minutes and simply notice what you hear, smell, and feel.
